New Season, New Committee!
Time for an introduction to our Denvers Committee 2011/12!
First up, Adrian! Our Captain
And here we have Zhangmei and Raj our 2 Vice Captains
Next up, Sharon our Treasurer/ Secretary!
Last but not least, heres me as the Media and Publicity guy once again
With a very nice jump shot!
There you go, the New committee for the coming year. With all the good news announced by certain members in a display of their affection for the team, 2011/12 would definitely be even better :)

Number of trg sessions left
TOTAL NO.OF TRG SESSIONS LEFT
= 43weeks x 3 trg sessions per week = 129 trg sessions
No.of trg sessions lost if not rescheduled properly
- Vesak Day (1 session)
- National Day (1 session)
- Hari raya puasa (1 session)
- Christmas eve (1 session)
- New year eve (1 session)
- Chinese new year (1 session)
- University exam ( about 12 sessions – not inclusive of exam breaks)
- GCE O LEVEL ( about 10 sessions – not inclusive of exam breaks)
- HO competition ( about 24 sessions – depending on the conflict of trg schedules of hall and Denvers)
- 2 months to perfect and rehearsal of full run ( 24 sessions)
Total no.of trg sessions lost = 76 sessions
Total effective trg sessions remaining = 129 – 76 = 53 sessions
If to be divided equally into 4 segments – btoss, pyramid, partner stunts, grp stunts, gymnastics = for each category we only have 10 sessions to train. Not forgetting that some segments require more time than others.
On top of that, we have a significant pool of people we have not mastered/learnt partner stunts – (I just mean the basic, toss ex, lib and cupie). To me the standard of the team can be indirectly measured by the no.of ppl who can do partner stunts in the team.
Thus, we really need to step up on the intensity of our trg and focus very much on our trg programme so as to make sure that we are progressing on track and fast enough to catch up with the other teams. Our trg programme should steer more towards objective based (National’s routine).
This time round, we must really scrutinized our own trg program and not waste any time. we cannot afford to waste one trg and wait for things to happen. We must all work tgt! J

DENVERS MASCOT!
OUR MASCOT !!
He is well known for spinning through any obstacles that comes his way and never will he be defeated by challenges.
Like HIM, we should stand firm and barge through all difficulties to the best of our ability and that nothing stops us from being the best.
He represents our lively character, always charging around, making a lot of noise and the fighting spirit in us.
He definitely has the best cheer expression !
Guys, now that each of you have your own individual mascot, pls take good care of him!! The daddy mascot has sent his children mascots to ensure our safety on the mats, boost our confidence to ASU during performances and competitions. And pls remember to bring your individual mascots to all performances and competitions. For now, lets get started and work hard for this coming year!

New Season, New committee, New mascot, New bags!
The New bags aren't Kate Spade bags mind you. But they are still as awesome :)
And there in front of our new 10th Anniversary Shoe/Sling Bag is the miniature version of our new Mascot.
Name: TO BE REVEALED
Birthday: 30th April 2011
Characteristics: Speedy, able to spin out of situations easily, smart, and a whole host of other attributes as described by Teh ping in his slide.
Thanks to Sharon and TP for the Mascot idea and our own individually personalised mascots too!
Of course not to mention his personal contribution of ordering a crash mat for us, same as Ben's contribution also represents a good start la! hahaha
